Surface Mount Advantages
Past TV Mirror products used a standard LCD television, produced by leading television manufacturers, resulting in units with an overall depth of 4 to 5 inches. When installed, these units gave off a medicine cabinet appearance, leaving your guest no
mystery as to where the television was located.

Recessed Mount Disadvantages
When using a standard television in a TV Mirror unit, a recessed mount has been the most popular installation. This installation process required extra construction cost for recessing a 4-inch LCD television, and caused the inconvenience of requiring walls that were deep enough to have units installed back-to-back, as most “wet walls” in a community space are adjacent to the next room. Using the 1 inch television, your contractor needs only to remove the ³/₄ inch dry wall, mount the bracket and plug in your TV Mirror product. Standard MB Quart TV mirror, including mirror glass and metal backing, has an overall depth of 1-¹/₂ inches, making us the slimmest mount in the industry. Other leading advances include:
